Le Cacce IGT Toscana

tasting notes

Deep ruby red with garnet reflections. Aromas of black cherry, plum and dried flowers evolve into cocoa, tobacco and sweet spice. The palate is round and velvety, with refined tannins, balanced acidity and a long, savory finish.

IGT TOSCANA

Le Cacce is produced from vineyards on the southwestern side of Montalcino, at slightly lower altitude than the estate’s Brunello sites.

This position yields a warmer, more generous expression of Sangiovese, enriched by a small percentage of Merlot that adds softness and depth while preserving structure and identity.

Aged in oak and refined in bottle, it is a wine of immediate presence and quiet complexity, shaped by the same landscape as the Brunello, but interpreted with greater openness and approachability.

A treasure trove of labels

The design is inspired by a Japanese Edo-period drawing discovered on a shamisen, expressing an aesthetic of lightness, discipline, and refined femininity.

The visual language is minimal and composed, reflecting a lifestyle defined by balance, grace, and inner strength rather than display.

Geological data sheet

The southwestern slope of Montalcino is a cultivated landscape of villas, farms, and historic estates.

Within this setting, Le Cacce reflects a lower-altitude expression of the same terrain: softer in texture, broader in fruit, but still grounded in mineral precision and territorial identity.
